Meta was a Titan, a group of powerful god-like beings that tyrannized the world in the time of Ancient Greece. They were entombed by the Elders after they imbued a group of mortals with the powers of the Gods to defeat them. She was freed along with her lover, Demitrius, in 2003.
History
Upon being freed with her fellow Titans, Meta assisted Demitrius and Cronus to get revenge on the Elders. She had the ability to turn people into stone by looking into their eyes and could start fires when she was angry. Meta was charged with gathering Whitelighters, so they could use their power of Orbing to enter the Heavens. Meta was reluctant to free Cronus, as she feared his wrath and wanted to rule the world with Demitrius. She was killed by Cronus after he was freed, for exposing their plans to the Charmed Ones and thereby, the rest of the magical community.
Powers and Abilities
- Active Powers
- Whirling: A form of teleportation in which the user teleports through a whirlwind.
- Telekinesis: The ability to move things with the power of the mind. Meta used it to fling Phoebe.
- Pyrokinesis: The ability to control and manipulate fire. Meta used it to start a fire, due to her anger.
- Petrification: The ability to turn living beings into stone. Meta used this to turn Paige and the captured Whitelighters to stone.
- Sensing: The ability to locate other magical beings. Meta used it to sense Whitelighters' orb trails.
- Power Absorption: The ability to absorb the magical powers of other beings.
- Other Powers
- Immortality: The ability to possess an infinite lifespan and an arrested aging process.
- High Resistance: The ability to be highly resistant to physical and magical harm.
- Immunity: The ability to be immune to certain magic, powers, spells, or potions. The strongest potions of the Charmed Ones did not harm Meta.

Notes and Trivia
- Meta never appeared in Greek Mythology as a Titan. She was created for the series.
- Meta may be based on Medusa; a Gorgon from Greek Mythology that could turn those who stared her in the eyes to stone. Their names are also similar.
