Herman is a male witch and student of Magic School. Like his advanced classmates, he was one of the students suspected of bringing the Headless Horseman to the school and beheading the teachers to corrupt it.
History
Herman was present in Sigmund's Advanced Magic class when Paige filled it for him. He was one of the students laughing as Zachary was being bullied and conjured an apple in Paige's hand after she stopped them.
He was later taken to the manor with his classmates when the sisters realized one of them was the one conjuring the Headless Horseman. Herman was one of the suspects due to his power, but was later proven innocent when Zachary revealed himself as the one behind it all after the entire class was frozen.

- Spell Casting: The ability to cast spells and perform rituals.
- Potion Brewing: The ability to brew potions.
- Scrying: The ability to locate or person or object with the use of a scrying crystal, a map, and sometimes other tools.
- Mediumship: The ability to see and commune with spirits of the dead.
- Active Powers
- Conjuration: The ability to materialize imaginary objects and people. This power was replicated by Zachary to summon the Headless Horseman.
